The domains are the lattice (biology, neuroscience, the older shape of the work), the embedding (machine learning, artificial intelligence, the newer shape of the work), and the attention (the mechanism, the older shape of the newer shape). The three papers that open the channel are, respectively, a finding about asymmetry in neural tissue under low oxygen, a finding about self-modification in language model embedding spaces, and the eight-year-old paper that introduced the transformer.
